What We Do

SaskWITT supports WITT women by providing opportunities for:


  • a discussion of challenges relating to their work, education and lives
  • skills training and enhancement
  • investigating career alternatives
  • training as speakers and role models in high schools, elementary schools and community-based projects

SaskWITT promotes WITT occupations for girls by:


  • delivering career exploration programs in high schools
  • sponsoring exhibits and workshops
  • producing videos and educational materials for Saskatchewan schools
  • encouraging apprenticeship options

SaskWITT promotes WITT issues to the public by:


  • working with employers to build healthier workplaces
  • helping employers to understand WITT concerns
  • providing workshops on retention initiatives
  • advising employers on gender specific policy, programs and terminology
  • providing representation on boards and committees
