SaskWITT supports WITT women by providing opportunities for:
- a discussion of challenges relating to their work, education and lives
- skills training and enhancement
- investigating career alternatives
- training as speakers and role models in high schools, elementary schools and community-based projects
SaskWITT promotes WITT occupations for girls by:
- delivering career exploration programs in high schools
- sponsoring exhibits and workshops
- producing videos and educational materials for Saskatchewan schools
- encouraging apprenticeship options
SaskWITT promotes WITT issues to the public by:
- working with employers to build healthier workplaces
- helping employers to understand WITT concerns
- providing workshops on retention initiatives
- advising employers on gender specific policy, programs and terminology
- providing representation on boards and committees
